Today is Valentine’s Day so I waited to leave my tribute until today on purpose. Yesterday was Friday the 13th. Since you are my sweetheart brother, today seemed fitting. I miss your funny, silly, comical self. I miss our talks and video calls. I can here you say “I knoowww” in that silly way you had, every time I say “I miss you or I love you” out loud. I am so sad you aren’t not here anymore and I know I’m selfish in that but I can’t help it. I hope I showed how much I love you when you were here. I hold you close to my heart still and always will. I don't really know where to start. I loved you from the first time we met in 1985. You stayed on my mind and in my heart. We reconnected 32 years later. It was like we hadn't skipped a beat. Texas didn't like that too much. You had your circle for sure because they hated me although they'd never met me. You chose me. We chose each other. Things definitely didn't end up how we planned but I was in it for the long haul until life made it no longer possible. Just know that on this earth you were my first and last love and I pray you've found nothing but peace and tranquility untill we meet again. Please play some George Jones for my mom. 💔
