March 26, 1962 - January 22, 2026 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends William “Bill” Keith Norris (Bama) 63, went peacefully to be with Our Lord on January 22, 2026 in Portland, Oregon. Born to John William Norris and Harriet Irene Wilson on March 26, 1962 in Pensacola, Florida. Bill was a coastal boy at heart and loved playing beach volleyball. His love for traveling landed him in Portland, Oregon for his final journey. He is preceded in death by his mother, Irene Etheridge (Florida) and his wife, Delinda Norris (Texas). Bill is lovingly remembered by his surviving family: His sons Will, Corey (Amber), and Chase Norris. His daughter, Elisabeth Stevison. His stepchildren, Daniel Watts, Jessica (Oscar) Carley, and Michelle (Jeremy) Evans. His sisters, Sheri Pace and Deborah Norris. His brothers, Keith Williams, Scotty and Steve Norris. His grandchildren, Xavier and Hudson Breeze, Caleb Dew, Dade and Shelby Carley, Brooklyn Evans, Kyran Watts, and Donna Wilson. His many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is also lovingly remembered by the loved ones and multitude of friends and neighbors he left behind in Portland. Bill was Southern born and carried his nickname “Bama” proudly. He loved Country & Western music and loved to rock his cowboy boots and hats. He played the guitar and often sang along to his favorite tunes “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Wave on Wave”, He was never one to pass up a good Karaoke and always performed his signature song “Turn the Page”. He loved life and traveled all over. His most recent favorite places were anywhere along the Columbia River Gorge or the Oregon Coast. He met many, many friends and was always the life of the party. He loved a good BBQ, smoked brisket, crawfish boils, or grilled oysters (he could eat his weight in oysters). He was carefree, comical, spontaneous, compassionate, charismatic, and caring. He will be remembered and celebrated by most who knew him. Every life he touched was left with fond memories of wonderful times and laughter. He will go on living forever in our hearts until we meet up again.
