1957 2020 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends William Gregg “Bill“ Jensen (62) passed away on January 5, 2020. He was the husband of Peggy Jensen and they shared 38 years of marriage, two children Stephanie and Thomas and three grandsons; Miles, Avery and Cooper. Bill was born in Fresno, CA to Martin Robert (Bob) and Ellen (Colene) Jensen. His family moved to San Jose when he was young and he lived there until 1987 when he moved his family to Washington before settling in Portland, Oregon in 1990. Bill will be remembered as a great listener and someone you wanted to have a conversation with. He loved refurbishing antiques, fishing, and sharing books. Although he lived in the city, he was a farmer at heart. He was an enthusiastic gardener and often shared the bounty of his crops with friends and family. He is survived by his mother Colene, wife Peggy, children Thomas & Stephanie, son-in-law Lars, grandchildren Miles, Avery & Cooper, sisters Karen (Jeff) and Andrea (Robert), mother-in-law Julie, sister-in-law Tammy (Steve), and brother-in-law Darrell (Helen). Bill had special relationships with his countless nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was predeceased by his father Bob Jensen and father-in-law Mike Enriquez. A celebration of his life will be held on January 18, 2020 at 11:30 AM at Laurelhurst Park Club, 3721 SE Ankeny St, Portland, OR 97214.
