Wesley Paul Heermann

May 3, 1979 – November 21, 2023

LIFE:  Wesley was born at Woodland Park Hospital in Portland, OR.  He is remembered as a fun, happy and easy-going baby who was adored by his Father (Paul Heermann), Mother (Jolene Heermann) and his sister (Kathryn Heermann).  Wesley, who sometimes liked to be called Wes, or Wess, was a fun-loving, energetic, talented, and creative boy.  He could always make those around him laugh.  He was a bright and well-liked young adult and was voted student body president of Gregory Heights Junior High.  As so many talented artists do, Wesley struggled with mental illness and drug addiction throughout his adult life.

LOVES:  Wesley loved biking around Portland and traveling the country with his Dad in the semi-truck.  Wesley was a true artist; he was in his element when he was creating or making something.  Whether he was:   building a lego masterpiece, sketching a drawing, taking a photograph, spray painting, strumming his guitar, mixing sounds on a tape, or acting on the stage – Wesley did it with incredible talent and inspiring ability.  He could hear a song once and play it masterfully on the family piano.

FAMILY:  Wesley was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Martin Heermann, Mary Heermann, Bernard Schuette, and Donna Benson, as well as his uncle Jim Schuette, his aunt Nancy Niiranen, Cousin Lewis Kennedy and sister Keri Heermann.  Wesley will continue to hold a special place in the hearts of many families and friends.

IN MEMORY OF:  Please join us in holding dear a memory of Wesley’s talent and bright smile. The family will be conducting a private memorial.
