Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Wade, I am so sorry that I wasn't able to see you these past few years, I missed you and never stopped loving you. You were a bright spot in the family and loved so much. I have many great memories with you, at the beach, at Great Grandma Colleen's and many family reunions. One of my favorite memories is when you were at Grandma Colleen's and you always grabbed her feet, and one day she came out of the bedroom wearing Grandpa Leon's work boots, you laughed so hard, we all did. You had an infectious laugh and would laugh often. I hope you are at peace and can finally do all that you wanted to do here, but couldn't because your body wouldn't let you.

Wade was the hi-lite of my life. He was so very Special from day one. His friends were many throughout his life. His accomplishments were many despite his severe disability. In Elementary school he learned to ride a tricycle, in Middle school he earned many 1st place medals while attending the Special Olympics at Pleasant Valley school. Wade was a Greeter at the Fred Meyer store in Orchards Vancouver and volunteered at a Senior Home. Wade went on to graduate with Special Honors at Prairie High. Wade attended his brother, Colby's Basketball & Soccer games religiously, he was his brothers biggest Fan! When Colby went to North Carolina to attend College his brother never missed a day to call and talk with Wade. Wade made friends wherever he went when out of school it was daily trips to the local Albertsons store where he loved playing shy then flirting with the ladies. They would flirt back and if they had blonde hair they were a favorite of his. When Wade was young he endured several surgeries and later in life when he grew older he was in a lot of pain. Wade's challenges became more difficult as time went on. In July of 2020 he was diagnosed with Progressive Lung Failure, the doctor said this was fatal and he would probably live another three months. Wade lived another year and a half, he was a heck of a fighter. He loved being with family and especially enjoyed the special holidays. During the summer he would want the back door open so he could hear when his special friend Morgan would come out and throw hoops, Wade had to go over to Morgans house and watch and sometimes play as best he could. Wade had a good life with many, many great friends. They all loved Wade like a little brother and included him in whatever they were doing. Playing B-ball, working on their cars, going for walks and especially throwing the ball for SAM. Sam was a German Shepard, he would get a tennis ball and bring it to Wade, Wade would pick up the ball and throw it so Sam would have to fetch the ball then bring it back to Wade. They would play this game for hours. Sam became very protective of Wade ~ Wade really loved Sam! There are so many stories I could share with you, wonderful, wonderful times in Wades life... We will remember Wade's Life journey for a lifetime~
