So sorry to hear this news. Steve was a true friend always willing to help with a project or repair. Well read on most things mechanical, he would jump in on a task and work out the details to make it function. He was an active member/ volunteer in the Civil Air Patrol and the east Idaho chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He was instrumental in starting and building the local E.A.A. library. He often worked as ground crew coordinator on missing aircraft searches and observer on search missions. He and several other E.A.A. members that volunteered to assist in the public display and flights of the E.A.A. B-17 Bomber "Aluminum Overcast" was given honorary Bomber Crew stations for the 4 engine Bomber's trip from Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ogden Utah Air Port. His Final Flight West will be a fitting tribute to this Man that gave so much of his self to help others.
