Steven Lynn Porter

1952 – 2022

Steven Lynn Porter, of Saint Helens, OR, passed away on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 at the age of 69.

Steve was born to parents Albert and Betty Porter in the spring of 1952. He grew up as the eldest of three kids. Steve was also a father to three children. He was an aviation enthusiast, a great lover of books, and loved to volunteer at the local library in Scappoose, OR.

Steve is survived by his sister, Debra Porter, his daughter, Foxy Porter; his son Andrew Porter, Andrew’s wife Jamie, and his kids Ami, Taya, and Odin; and his other son Isaac Porter, his wife Brenda, and his son Giddeon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Betty Porter; as well as his brother Gary Porter.

As he had often talked about flying into the sunset over the ocean, Steve’s ashes will be spread out to sea at a later date. A celebration of life may be planned at that time but is currently TBD.
