Sadie Bingham was born to Willie & Leana Walter in Singer, Louisiana on October 27th, 1943.  She had 3 sisters and 1 brother, Clara, Debra, Delphine & Hampton.

Sadie’s parents moved to Portland, when she was just 1 year old.  Later in life Sadie began working for the State of Oregon, she loved it and eventually retired from there.

She met William Blackmon Sr. in the early 1960’s.  They had 4 children, Patrice, Lisa, Tracey and William Jr.  She later remarried to George Bingham in 1992.

Sadie enjoyed many years of retirement before passing peacefully on March 18, 2019 in her own home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Clara Price,  Delphine White, brother Hampton Walter, brother in law Freddie Elliott, sister in law Pearlie Mae Walter and grandson Gregory Pierce.

Sadie leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Patrice Turay, Lisa Blackmon, Tracey Blackmon and William Blackmon Jr., her nine grandchildren, many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
