Russell Lee Carpenter was born on September 3, 1941, in Davenport, Iowa and died on June 20, 2021, in Portland, Oregon, he was 79 years old.

He graduated High School and was only 11 hours short on getting his bachelor’s degree. Russell served in the US Air Force and the Marine Reserve.  He worked for Alamo Rental Cars and Ron Tonkin.  A member of Milwaukie Lodge # 109, Valant Sellwood Chapter Order of Eastern Star and Colonial Court Order of the Amaranth.  He enjoyed square dancing and going on cruises.

He survived by two daughters.

A graveside service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Willamette National Cemetery.
