Rosa passed away on February 23, 2014 at the age of 97.-She was born November 17, 1916 to Gerolomo (James) and Nicoletta Ezetta in Vancouver, WA, the third of four children. She graduated from Vancouver High School.-She lived on the family farm in Vancouver until she married Sterling “Buz” Borquist in November 1941.-They enjoyed 55 years of marriage until Buz passed away in November 1995.

Rosa is survived by her three children, Susan (Chuck) Chesemore, Nancy Foesch and James (Francie) Borquist all of Portland, her sister Bena Marsh of Vancouver, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.-She was preceded in death by her sister Angela Pitton of Portland and brother Thomas Ezetta of Vancouver.

Rosa worked in the Providence Hospital business office for twenty years prior to retirement and was a member of Ascension Catholic Church since 1953.-Funeral mass will be at Ascension Church (76th & SE Yamhill, Portland, Oregon) on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at 11am.-In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ascension Church.-Private interment will be at Portland Memorial.
