Richard L. Ramberg

Richard L. Ramberg passed away October 19th, 2019 with his wife by his side. Richard was born January 8th 1951 in Portland Oregon, he was born to Byron Ramberg and Louis Gallo. He graduated from Nestucca High school in Cloverdale Oregon in the class of 1969 . He worked different jobs throughout his life. He would say he was a jack of all trades master of none.

He has a brother Jim Kanoff who worked with him and their mom at their family owned small grocery store in Neskowin Oregon. He lived in Neskowin Oregon for 35 years then moved back to Portland.

In 2004, he met Bonnie Hanley who in September of 2009 became his Wife. He then became a stepdad to Bonnie’s daughter Christy Hanley and an instant Grandpa or better known as Boppa to Christy’s three children Sherma Hanley, Christopher Hanley, and Kaila Gottfried. Richard was a wonderful husband and grandfather and he was well loved by many family and friends. We will truly miss him.

Richard is survived by his wife (Bonnie Ramberg) Brother and sister in law (Jim Kanoff and Sandra Smith) and 2 nieces and a nephew, Step-daughter (Christy Hanley) and Three grandchildren (Sherma Hanley, Christopher Hanley, Kaila Gottfried). Also 3 cousins (Diane, Kathy, and Joanie)
