August 7, 1928 - August 8, 2016 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Priscilla Wheatfall
Sunshine’s work here on earth is complete. It’s done! Per her daughter, Sunshine received a call from The King…trumpets were sounding and angels were singing “”it’s time for you to come home. Your husband is waiting to receive you, your daughter is rejoicing, and many family members and friends are waiting to welcome you into the Kingdom of God.”” She did not hesitate to answer God’s call. Sunshine lived her life with an unwavering faith and unbreakable devotion to God.
She possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Wherever she went she won the hearts and trust of many who are forever changed by her constant nurturing, love and faith. Her signature name “”Sunshine”” shines through her constant smile, laughter, and stories that will never be forgotten.
Sunshine has left a legacy of her love and perseverance. The endless ways she touched lives will remain. She never met a stranger. We ask you to keep those memories alive by sharing them with one another.
Sunshine worked as a nurse off and on through her husband’s 30+ year military career…she lived all over the world. Sunshine enjoyed cooking, entertaining, bingo, bunko, bowling, singing gospel, and laughing it up with whoever would stop to chat.
Sunshine was married to retired Colonel Emmett Wheatfall Sr. (deceased) for 60 years and together had 4 children. Jacqueline Wheatfall (deceased), Faye Wheatfall, Emmett Wheatfall Jr. and Pamela Rawlins.
The Family personally thanks all of you who cared for Priscilla after the loss of her husband. And a special thanks to those who assisted her daughter in her and her husband’s care.
