Peter William “Pete’ Bowman was born September 27, 1943, and passed away September 18, 2017.

Peter, 73, was born the middle son of Pete and Maisie (Heiberg) Bowman in  Vermillion, South Dakota.

He was raised in Medford and moved to Portland in 1965 after graduating from Medford High School.

He traveled through the United States and Europe, and during those travels was able to visit Copenhagen, Denmark, the homeland of his mother.

Peter lived and worked in southeast Portland his entire life and made many lasting friends.  He retired in 2004 from the auto industry.

He is survived by his lifelong friend, Elaine.  Peter is preceded in death by his mother and father and two brothers, John and Tim.

At Peter’s request, there will be no services.  He will be greatly missed by many.
