Daughter of Sally & Dann. Survived by Sally; siblings Paul & Anjie; and husband Steve.

Peggy passed peacefully on Feb 23, 2015 after a long illness. She never lost her quirky sense of humor during this difficult time.

Born in Astoria but at a young age moved to Corvallis and then Hoquiam. Ultimately moving to Portland where she mostly grew up in the Vermont Hills area. She studied theater at PSU and performed in several plays including the role of Rosalind in «As You Like It».
Steve and Peggy met in Athens Greece while Peggy was taking some time away from a theater program in London and were married in 1991. She spent time living in London; Greece; Israel; & Sydney before returning to Portland.

Peggy worked at Nationwide Insurance before her adventures abroad and returned there for some years. After leaving Nationwide she volunteered with the Dignity Village homeless project and the Portland Community Transitional School.

She was very passionate about these causes along with
animal protection issues.
