April 16, 1950 - March 28, 2016 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends As a published author, Paul wrote fantasy, sci-fi and crime drama stories. He greatly loved reading but had the most pleasure from writing, knowing that his books would be enjoyed by others. Paul loved to spark commentary and curious discussion. Paul was a dedicated Christian man who knew the bible by heart and nourished all of those around him with God’s gospel of faith and love. Paul’s most cherished bible verse was John 3:16. Paul wrote about this verse in one of his short stories: “We too, will live forever in Heaven. That is, those of us who simply believe that Jesus is who He said He is, and has done for us what He claims He has done. He made it simple. But, of course, it takes faith. This is what the Bible tells us Christians. John 3:16 and 17 says all that is really needed to be said, but somehow, it just doesn’t seem to be enough these days.” Words cannot express the loving devotion of Paul’s best friend Pete Kajano and Colleen Kajano during the last years of Paul’s life. The family is forever grateful for their kindness and support. A private ceremony and celebration of life will be held in Mount Hood, Oregon.Paul H. Kogel
