Patricia Palmer, 83, of Portland, Oregon, passed away on June 4th, 2019 after suffering a sudden stroke. She was surrounded by all her children and most of her grandchildren.

Born Patricia Louise Evans on June 4th, 1936, the oldest of five daughters, to Leo Michael Evans and Helen Genevieve Smith. After her first marriage to Joseph Good, Patricia married Daniel Palmer on April 30th, 1960. In June of 1976 she earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Portland Community College. She spent most of her nursing career at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, then the last five at Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin until she retired.

Patricia was involved in the Red Hat Society and was the Queen of her Chapter, The Victorian Ladies. Another passion of hers was researching personal genealogy and helping others to do the same. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the monthly game nights with her granddaughters.

She is survived by her four children Ann (Gerald) Gould, Kathryn (Roger) Kestler, Donna (Ricardo) Delgado, and Daniel (Beverly) Palmer, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and three sisters Carol Corbett, Kathleen Julkowski and Elizabeth Karr. Patricia was preceded (by 3 days) in death by her husband Daniel Palmer, Sr., and her twin sister Mary Ruiz.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 27th, 2019 at Woodland Park Baptist Church (11375 NE Halsey St., Portland, OR 97220) at 3pm for both Patricia and Daniel, CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS.     Reception to follow.
