Patricia Collene Hicks passed away Feb. 13, 2012 at Portland Adventist Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, surrounded by many family members and friends.-She will always be remembered affectionately as Mom, Pat, Grandma and Snackin (she loved her snacks).-Known for her zest for life and opening her home to all, she will be missed by her family and friends .-Everyone who walked through her door was considered family.-She loved all who were fortunate to have known her.-Mom’s dearest companions were her dog Missy, followed by her children Jon (in loving memory), David, Mindee, Kenra and Kerry.-No less loved were her daughters-in-law Christina, Lisa, Bobby and Jessica; sons-in-law Raymond and Charlie; grandchildren Jonny, Tasha, Patrick, Zyzmick, Lt. David, Cody, Charlien, Winter, Kourtney, Korissa, Andrea, Austin, Tonya and Christal; great grandchildren Zoey, Tcoda and Corbin; husband Darwin; mother-in-law Alvina.; and all her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.-She had a passion to love and take care of everyone.-Making quilts for everyone, being surrounded by her antiques, and drinking coke. were among her favorite pasttimes, as well as writing details about her life and creating-a memory scrapbook.-We love and thank you, Mom – Pat, Snackin, Patricia – for all the beautiful and loving memories you left for us.

A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, 3:00 pm, at Omega Funeral and Cremation Service, 223 S. E. 122nd Ave Portland, Oregon.-Following the service will be a potluck/reception.
