Born in Willow Springs, MO, Noelene and her family moved to Washington State in 1942. She graduated from Shelton High School in 1957, and went on to study nursing at University of Portland. She lived in Portland the remainder of her life.

Noelene was an avid gardener, loved to read and loved to travel. She was kind, caring, compassionate to everyone she met. She forgave easily. She had a great sense of humor, and loved to laugh. She will be very missed by her friends and family.

She was proceeded in death by her daughter Gayl Sharpes-Nelson. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Max Thompson, Brother Mike Hair, sister Sue Gennsman, daughters Karen Wu and Deb Seifert, sons Ryan Thompson and Matthew Thompson. She has 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 29th at 2pm at Victorious Faith Family Church 811 Center St, Oregon City, OR 97045

She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham, OR.
