March 18, 1947 - February 15, 2021 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Nao Tua Cha was born in Pha Teung in the Province of Luang-Prabang on the 18th of March 1947 to Va Lee Cha and Va Lo. His brave decision to leave his country in the middle of the Secret War provided him the opportunity to what would be, the beginning of his life in America. In October 1979, NaoTua and his family immigrated to the United State of America and eventually settled in Portland, Oregon. Nao Tua was predeceased by his parents, three sisters, two brothers and youngest son, Jeffrey. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Bao Cha, three sisters, seven children: Thai Lee, Mua Lee, Tong Cha, Tou Lee, Mai Lee, Tou S. Cha, and Bee Lee, along with thirty grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Nao Tua Cha passed away on February 15, 2021 at the age of 73 in Vancouver, Washington from cardiac arrest. With various illnesses knocking at his door, Nao Tua was a true definition of a fighter. His battle with multiple medical conditions; especially in recent years, reflect the strong-fighter personality he had and will forever be remembered and cherished that way. Nao Tua’s life will be celebrated and honored on March 21, 2021 in Portland, Oregon where he spent majority of his life. “In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.
