Passed away peacefully on June 27, 2016 at Portland Providence Hospital
Michael was born on June 30, 1960 in Portland, Oregon. He is survived by his four siblings Terry Mckernan of Boring , Douglas Hunt of Portland, Karen Hunt of Sandy, and Linda Hunt of Sandy.
He was preceeded in death by his father Herman Hunt, Mother Barbara (Stegall) Hunt, siblings Sherry Sippey, Allen Hunt, and Ronnie Hunt.
Michael also had many nieces and nephews Racheal, Ray, Wes, Sean, James, Jay, Christopher, Anthony, Justin, Jennifer and Terah.
Michael shared his life with Sharman McCance, and her children Tasha McCance, and Jake McCance.
Michael loved reading having long discussions about politics, history and current events. He enjoyed doing difficult crossword puzzles. His hobbies include working on cars, horseback riding, fishing, gardening, pool and many more. He would take you around the property and show you all the new things he had done to improve it and new trees or plants he had added. He loved trying new things in the kitchen and just started getting into canning. He was a good listener and would give you advise without judgement.

Michael was loved by many and will be missed by all.
