Mary was born to Dan and Ann Delaney in Dublin, Ireland and later moved to Coventry, England. During WWII, she met and married her American GI husband Joseph I. Mozena. As a war bride she came over on the Queen Mary to America and raised eight children. She enjoyed operating the Little Rummage Shop and after the death of her husband, married Larry Hough and started Portland’s White House Bed and Breakfast and later retired to Lincoln City.-She happily brought joy, love, beauty and wisdom to all around and had a passion for dancing and decorating. The room lit up when she entered with her great energy. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Larry, and her eight children: Rosaleen Stone, Peter, James, Joseph, Mary, John, Steven and Kathleen Mozena and stepchildren: Greg, Michael, and Chris Hough. Grandchildren: Kate Woicke, Aaron Stone, Claire Gunderson, Vickie Campbell, Paul, Kevin, Bryan, Christine, Michelle , and Arista Mozena and many great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews: Pauline Fabel, Ursula Fox, Joannie, Raymond, Carmel and Damian Delaney. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at the Madeleine Church 3123 NE 24th Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97212, preceded by a Rosary at 10:30am. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Celebration of life at Portland’s White House Bed and Breakfast Inn, 1914 NE 22nd from 3:30 to 5:30pm.
