I had the honor and pleasure of knowing PQ Mary Lee through Daughters of the Nile I shall greatly miss Mary Lee’s smile, graciousness, charm !

Mrs. Alberts was my English teacher at South Jr. High School in the early 1970's. She was a great teacher, and sharp as a tack. Once when I was talking in class, rather than send me out to the hall - she sent me to the boys bathroom so I could talk to myself in the mirror, as it was apparent to her that I must "like to hear the sound of my own voice". lol Life lessons were just part of the overall curriculum in her classroom, as she really did care about helping her students overcome the obstacles that they might face in life. Whenever I think of Mrs. Alberts, a smile comes to my face....... thanks for being a part of my life.
