August 17, 1966 – March 07, 2020

Mary Ann Worley, 53, of Portland, Oregon, passed away from cancer on March 7, 2020, peacefully at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Mary Ann was born in August of 1966 to Thomas and Unette Worley. She grew up very close to her three eldest siblings, Tom, Doug, and Marie, in their childhood home at the base of Rocky Butte. Mary Ann attended Jason Lee Elementary school where she made most of her life long friends and then briefly attended Madison High School before being accepted to Jefferson High School as a Jefferson Dancer.

Mary Ann was married in the fall of 1993 and was blessed with two wonderful children, Alex and Angus, whom she would raise to call the ‘lights of her life’.

Mary Ann would work in accounting and executive positions throughout her life while raising two children as a single mother. In Mary Ann’s later years she enjoyed gardening as one of her therapeutic passions, and grew closer with her mother Unette in the last years of her life. She enjoyed spending quality time in the Oregon sun any chance that she got, volunteering time at church with her friends, giving back to those in need in the community, and most of all, spending time with her family.
