Lynda Portillo was born August 18th, 1947 to parents Chester and Carol Mack. Outgoing, brave, loyal and compassionate were just a few of her best qualities. A woman we all admired for her wisdom. She had an answer for everything. Someone who was supportive, dependable and resourceful. What gave her pleasure was helping others so she made a career in mental health, where her clients and co-workers became more like extended family.

 

Lynda’s favorite part of life was being a mother, grandmother, fiancé and sister. She was dedicated to her family; teaching them not only to be strong but by guiding them along the way. She is loved by many and will be sincerely missed but never forgotten.

 

Preceding her in death: her fiancé Billy Saunders, her son Nikia Jones and many more. She leaves behind her 3 children; Lagene Ocampo, Eugene Green and Chester Jones (CJ), her son in law; Jose Ocampo, 2 sisters; Sherri Mack and Suzanne Ellis, 13 grandchildren; Victoria Nevell, Veranda Ocampo, Valencia Ocampo, Ernigdio Green, Vyonica Ocampo, Kay-Lynn Green, Terrance Green, Alexandra Green, William Saunders, Auzhane Saunders, Seajay Saunders, Indikah Saunders, Ladonya Saunders, an abundance of great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
