Linda Adams was my midwife at Good Sam. She helped me through a difficult pregnancy and delivery. I had pre eclampsia, a kidney infection, and a breech baby. I saw her every week of my pregnancy as I was on total bed rest. She performed a risky external version during my last month of pregnancy to 'unbreech' my son. He ended up 2 weeks late and so we decided to induce labor. 56 hours later she was coming to the hospital to inform me it was time for a c-section after I was still not effaced on the last check. Shockingly in the time it took for her to get from her home to the hospital my son was plus 2 and she said I could push. 5 pushes later he was born and it felt like our moment. It was triumpant for both of us. I will never forget her apparent dedication to her craft and how much she believed in me and my body to do what it was made to do. She is very much a part of my birth story. I was greatly alarmed and saddened to learn of her passing today. She was an incredible woman and asset to women.

My deepest condolences for the lose a great woman, mother, and friend. She was so much fun. We used to gather at my house for Italian cooking marathons which took us to recipes which we tripled. Stuffing our freezers with sauce, meatballs, manicotti, pizzelli's, gnocchi and more! Exhausted and looking forward to our next venture. She is missed but fond memories will remain. Her life was not easy but she rarely complained and always was more concerned for others than herself. Rest in peace sweet lady.

Linda was a dedicated midwife and a steady colleague. She would take on challenges and go step by step until the goal was accomplished.

Linda Adams loved delivering babies. She showed compassion and warmth to families and staff. We will miss her. She was proud of her children and would share animated stories about their studies, activities...starting family's of their own.

I always loved working with Linda at St. Vincent and Good Samaritan Hospital over many years. She was a great RN and Midwife with such a bubbly personality. She will be greatly missed. Heidi
