Leo Bosch

September 29-1927 – October 28, 2020

Leo Bosch was born September 29, 1927, to Gustave Bosch and Elizabeth (Lavinger) Bosch. Leo enlisted in the Army at the age of 18 and served 1945 – 1949. He was employed by the State of Oregon in the Employment Division as an Investigator and worked there until he retired.

Leo met and married the love of his life, Theresa Christina (Braun) Walters, December 20, 1968. Leo was stepfather to Theresa’s three sons, Tim, Doug and Dave. They resided in Depoe Bay and later moved to Portland. Leo loved to fish, hunt and his puppy dogs. Leo did sports fishing and later commercial fished out of Depoe Bay with his father, Gus, and stepson, Dave. He was the owner of the Sea Billy and later the Theresa Sea.

Predeceased by his wife, Theresa, stepsons Tim and Doug, brothers Stephen and Joseph, sisters Florentina (Florence) and Odelia (Tillie).

Leo is survived by his brother, Michael, stepson Dave Walters, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Leo is remembered by many as a kind, caring gentleman with a smile for everyone.
