She was born on August 23, 1914 in Echo, California to Joseph & Mary (Rocca) Pete. She was a Homemaker most of her life and was the eldest member of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria in California. She died on October 21, 2011 in Milwaukie, Oregon at the age of 97
