Larry Ray Geer, «The Cat Doctor», passed away peacefully at his Conyers, GA home on February 11th, 2016, surrounded by his wife, Linda Sue and family.

Larry was born on October 2nd, 1946 in Richland, Washington to Carl E. Geer and Beth V. (Messner) Geer. He is survived by his five beloved children, Misti M. (Geer) DeJohn of Santa Rosa, CA, Carl E. Geer ll of Gladstone, OR, Chad E. Geer of Aloha, OR, Cody E. Geer, of Portland, OR, and Ashley B. (Geer) Beigle, of Sherwood, OR, three stepchildren, all making their residences in GA, eleven adoring grandchildren, seven step-grand children, two step-great grandchildren, four sisters, Carol S. (Geer) Gray, of Stuart, FL, Linda L. (Geer) Gardner, of Bend, OR, Bonnie M. (Geer) Caldwell, of Spokane, WA, and Sunny L. (Geer) Butler, of Woodinville, WA, five nephews and four nieces. He was pre deceased by his parents and his wife of 29 years Roberta «Bobbi» Rae (Craig) Geer, the mother of his five children.

Larry was not only a decorated Vietnam War veteran, serving as an Army Aviator, Blackcat Pilot. He was a loving father, coach and mentor to many above and beyond his own children. He was a true patriot of the United States of America.

His deep love of his family and friends touched many who will carry him in their hearts always. Internment will be at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR, on February 26th, 2016 @ 11am with a reception to follow.
