November 11, 1958 - June 19, 2021 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Khamsith Vorasai passed away June 19th from an unexpected heart attack. He was surrounded by his wife, their children and family members. There was not a dry eye at the start, yet after sharing all the loving memories — and they were endless. Everyone left the hospital room dry eyes, full of loving memories of him. Khamsith was born in Savannakhet, Laos to immigrant parents from Vietnam. He was the eldest of nine children and treasured by his siblings. He left Laos in this teen years and migrated to Astoria, Oregon. He loved everything about American culture and quickly assimilated to his new found home. A few of his passions include driving sports cars, playing the guitar, and being an amazing dad. On the weekend, you will always find Khamsith barbecuing with friends and family, while gleefully laughing. To this day, no one has been able to out eat Khamsith, he could eat endlessly and never gain a pound. Khamsith married his wife, Jennifer (nee Chang) in 1988, they were married for 33 years. He left behind three amazing children Oliver Vorasai, Victor Vorasai, and Vivianna Vorasai. Khamsith was not only their father, but their hero. No one can come close to Khamsith in the realm of fatherhood. He would cook, clean, does laundry, while providing for this family without complaints. His funeral service was held at Omega Funeral & Cremation Services located at 223 SE 122nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97230. Khamsith Vorasai
