Kevin Robert Clohessy

Kevin Clohessy was raised in SE Portland and attended David Douglas High School.  He put himself through college at the University of Portland, graduating in 1981 with a BA in Business.

Kevin worked as a manager for J.K.Gill in several locations including Portland, as well as Ventura, Brea, Pasadena, and Cerritos, California.  He worked in several other retail locations in Portland after transferring back to Portland in 2004 to help take care of his ailing father.

Kevin traveled extensively in the 1980s and 90s, including most states, Europe, South America, and Asia.   He was a co-founder of the Whittier Social Network and the Whittier Conservancy, along with his domestic partner Joe Holliday.

Kevin is survived by his three siblings, Kip Clohessy in Milwaukee, Debra Hunt in Oregon City, and Quinn Clohessy in Gresham, as well as his close friend Joe Holliday in Long Beach, CA and nieces Karen Hunt and Jennifer Clohessy and nephew Robert Hunt.

There will be a private celebration of life on the Columbia River during spring.
