Karen Lynn Agajanian Buerkel was born May 28, 1948 in San Pedro, California to Shirley and Arthur and was raised by her mother and step father in Temple City, California.

She worked in the family business, Zane Engineering, in El Monte, California until the 80’s when the family moved to Oregon. Karen followed in 1992 to care for her parents as they became unable to care for themselves. Karen took care of them until they passed away. Karen survived 3 battles with cancer and the loss of her leg.

Karen married the love of her life Gerhard (Jerry) Buerkel after they moved to Oregon. They had no children of their own, but she loved her neice and nephews . They all meant the world to her, and most of all she is survived by her great nephew Christian James.

She will be missed ~
