Jon was my first cousin, born a month earlier than I. Although I and my wife Amira have not visited Jon and Doris out in Portland for several years, we kept in touch with holiday cards and calls. I fondly recall our football games over Thanksgiving at Grandpa Duke and Granma Zola's home in Tiffin, Ohio, where I was born. I will miss speaking with Jon, as he is the first cousin of mine who has passed away. My thoughts are with Doris, Erin and Rebecca at this difficult time.
