Dean and Pattyrose, my heart is broken for you and I am so sorry to hear of Jon's passing. Although I had not met Jon, he sounds like he was a wonderful person and his loss is a loss to the world and to everyone who knew him. I hope that you can find comfort knowing that he is freed from his pain and in the hands of the Lord now.

Jon, Your tricks and laughter could fill a room, and of course your stature too! We know that your earthly struggles were hard, but you are now rejoicing and feeling no pain. We love you to pieces and know that we will all meet again some day. Love and hugs to the rest of the family, as we work through out earthly sorrows, but celebrate the life of Jon; son, sibling, cousin, nephew, grandson, uncle.

I can't really put into words how much this hurts. Jon had such a big heart and was incredibly funny and caring. He will live on, in the many memories I have from our childhood. What an incredible guy! Sheryl, Dean, Julie, and Matt - I am so very sorry for your loss. I'll miss you, big guy!

'Pray. Hope. Do not worry'. Padre Pio Jonathan (gift from God) loved this short simple prayer, often said 'I am just a simple guy from Damascus!' Jesus came for his unpretentious soul on the most holy day of the year, having made his peace with God. What an honor and blessing. May we all aspire to his natural goodness.
