There will be a service to celebrate his life held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Omega funeral and cremation services 223 SE 122 Avenue, Portland, OR 97233 at 3:00 PM with a reception following there will be a public viewing from 9 AM to 2:30 PM that same day.

Johnny Rae Hewgley 52, Died unexpectedly in his Portland Home on April 13, 2017 he was born October 12, 1964 to Sandra Rose Mcmindes and Albert Dwaine Hewgley he was step son to Raphael Davis, younger brother to Albert Hewgley and older step brother to John Davis. He was also the uncle of Travis Amber and Cody Hewgley as well as a nephew cousin and friend to many others.

He graduated from Centennial high school in 1983 and worked detailing cars and as a sprinkler fitter and roofer in his young adult years, proving to everyone that he could overcome his disability of cerebral palsy with his Gitter done attitude. Johnny was the type of guy that if you told him he couldn’t do something he would take great pride in showing you he could. he could out run even the most grown men especially if he was angry at you you. He could out climb the toughest of kids and yet still had a heart that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

Johnny also love the outdoors fishing, hunting, shooting, and video games were among his favorite hobbies.

He will be greatly missed.
