Today I am remembering an extraordinary woman, with a cheery and lively disposition that would light up any room. She was Joanne Allen-Zega, my first cousin, daughter of my dad’s sister, Francis Bresnahan. She passed away earlier this month at the age of 85, but I remember her from when I was young. She was a beautiful and loving person who lived with enduring faith and touched many lives as a minister and health practitioner. What an inspiration and bright spirit she was!

Joanne, You have been an inspiration to all that know you. Always ahead of your time, an active, curious, loving, generous, nurturing, wise woman healer and teacher for many. Everyone will miss your warm bright smile and laugh, gentle kindness, and positive attitude. You will be missed…especially by your kitties. I'm sure you and Joy will continue adventures. Many blessings and condolences to all the Family. Blue Ackerman

Joanne.....You were a great teacher.... you mentored me in Reiki and many spiritual healing modalities that helped me on my path. You were always there for me as a friend with a warm, loving smile and open arms. I loved going to lunch with you and sharing our stories.......you always listened with an open heart. I will miss you but I see, feel and sense your presence still around giving us your sweet smile that feels like home. Blessings to you and your family! Teri Baldwin

We have many good, happy and varied memories of Joanne. She was an amazing person to have in our lives. She showed us how loving she was through her abilities, beliefs and true caring and love for others especially her family. We are sad she is now in the better-place and for your loss.
