Becky, John, and family, So sorry for your loss. I went on a number of Walking Adventure trips with Joan and she visited us when she walked in Manzanita. Her smile and presence will be missed at Volkswalks events.

Rose City Roamers will miss this bright star in our club. She was our treasurer for many years, and also served on our club in many other ways. And when I had the opportunity to walk with her, she was always so pleasant. We will miss her.

So surprised to read of her death. Had lunch with her in August with old transportation friends & saw her from time to time ushering at Portland 5 and Portland Center Stage. First got to know her from her work in transportation and our mutual involvement in the Transportation Clubs & in Women's Shipping Club. She will be missed.

Joan has done several of my volksmarching tours, so to hear of her passing was a shock to me and her Tater Tot friends. The family has my deepest sympathy .... she will definitely be missed.

Joe and I have known Joan for many years. We have walked with her in several states. She was a very sweet person, very smart lady. She will be missed.
