Jana Carol Carver Sanford, a loving mother and sister of 64 years died on April 21^st, 2018 after a protracted battle with Alzheimer’s disease at a care facility in Oregon City. She was born on January 22, 1954 in Salem, Oregon to James and Phyllis Carver. She was a graduate of South Salem High School and later of Warner Pacific University in Portland with a degree in Counseling.

She is survived by brothers James and Gregory, her parents (all of Salem), and her daughter Christina Megan Sanford of Portland Oregon.

Before starting her career in Counseling, Jana spent a number of years in the paint manufacturing and supply industry, first with the Glidden Paint Company and later for Rodda Paint of Portland where she managed stores, served as the Warehouse Supervisor, and set up a series of new retail locations for Rodda. Active throughout her life in church activities, she was a long term member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Portland.

Services for Jana Sanford will be held at the Central Church of the Nazarene in Portland Oregon on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
