Frances (Frankie) Marie Michels Weston

Frances was born on April 12, 1927 in Oregon City, Oregon to Frank Bernard Michels and
Genevieve Emma McGarrity. She passed away on March 14, 2016 a few weeks’ shy of her 89th
birthday. She lived most of her life in the Portland area, attended a Catholic grade school and
Franklin High School. She was predeceased by her twin brother Frank Michels (whom she
idolized), her older sister Genevieve Pinckard, her youngest son, Ronald Fowler, her husband
Eugene Weston and her infant grandson, Jason. She is survived by her children, Darlene
(Robert) Fredeen, Donna Baker, Larry (Pamela) Fowler and Thomas (Penny) Fowler. She is also
survived by 9 grandchildren and their spouses, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great
grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She worked most of her life in a variety of jobs.
She loved country western music, dining in restaurants, enjoyed family gatherings and was
always very excited about Christmas, family weddings and the new grandchildren that joined
her family. She loved and had many pets from her early childhood throughout her adult life,
until she became ill. She instilled her love of animals in all of her children, who have passed
that legacy to their children. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Frances’s memorial service was held on her 89th birthday, April 12, 2016 at 2 PM.
