Ellen Marie Johnson was November 28, 1937, to Charles & Ethel (Burns) Johnson, in Twin Falls, Idaho, In the early 1940’s she moved with her family to Oregon. She graduated from high school in Mt. Angel, Oregon, served in the U.S. Navy where she was trained in Nursing, following her discharge she graduated from Mt. Hood Community College with a degree in Nursing.
