I googled my old pastor and friend Earl Tycksen recently to find his and Annie's phone #. The shock of finding that he had passed is still with me. Earl lived a very solid life of rock steady dutiful loving. He had a quiet manner and was a man of deep principled loyalties. He was Utterly above politics. His quiet steady loving devotion to his wife, kids, pastoral and other duties was his deep daily joy. I liked and admired Earl immensely, and always will. He would have been the great older brother I never had. The world is much much better for your having been here Earl. God bless you Earl, keep you close, shine his good light upon you and those you love, Always.
