Donald Anthony Bitar

June 25th 1949 to

March 15th 2018

Don was born in Ryderwood, Washington  in 1949. In 1958 he moved to Portland, Oregon with his mother and Gary, his brother, best friend and consort in life. The two were inseparable and lived the majority of their lives together .

Don was proud of his two daughters, Joni Blasdell of Gresham, OR, and Lane Gaylord of Boring, OR. The girls truly adored their father, and the impact  of this loss is much too great to fathom.

Don was a very kind, loving and patient man.  He lifted people up, in spite of his own adversity. His quirky and analytical sense of humor was one of his best traits. If he couldn’t make you laugh, he would at least make you smile and that was very important to him.
This man touched so many lives, to say he will simply be missed is an understatement and an injustice.
