Derek Kirk Washington Sr.

Derek was a father who took care of his kids the best he knew how. He and his wife Lillian would never turn their kids away if they needed something even when they had very little.  This shows how much they love their kids.

When Derek was younger he used to fight forest fires something he loved to do and was proud of. He was also a very skilled pool player. He and his wife Lillian played on pool league and were both very competitive and good! Derek also loved his sweets especially M & M’s.  Derek loved to tease everyone and give people nicknames, sometimes silly ones.

The last 4 years have been tough health wise for Derek but be assured he is now feeling no pain and with his brother and mother and all our loved ones who have gone before.
