Dennis Alan Monner

Dennis Alan Monner, a lifelong resident of Portland, died Jan. 22, 2018 of complications from open heart surgery.

He was born Aug. 31, 1950 in Portland, he was a 1968 graduate of Franklin High School. He worked for the City of Lake Oswego for 39 years, retiring in 2009. On Feb. 26, 1972 he married Cara Hull, who survives him.

In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his daughters, Kimberley (Lucas) Walters and Kelly (Zane) Andersson; grandchildren, Alysha and Corbyn Andersson and Jade (David) Ellis; great-grandsons, Augustus and Winston Ellis; sister, Sharon (Jim) Richards; and numerous nieces and nephews

An open house will be held from 1-4 p.m., Feb. 3, 2018, at the family residence. Contributions may be sent to SnoCap.
