Darrelene Jean Stange “DJ”

Darrelene Jean Stange passed away at Providence Portland Medical center on June 3rd due to covid complications. She leaves behind 2 children Walter Stange and Angelia Blasier , 4 grandchildren Alexis, Mercedes, Porsche and a newly found out about grandson. 1 great granddaughter Isabella who she loved so much. 2 sisters Katey Frey and Kathy Bjorkquest 1 niece Jennifer Hawkins and 1 nephew Joseph Hawkins who she treated like her own kids.

She grew up in Portland Oregon attended James Monroe High School also known as girls poly. She met her husband Walter during their high school career, They later married March 25, 1972.

She started her working career as a bank teller until she landed the job of her dreams. Working at the center for medically fragile children at Providence. She loved her job and the kids.

Darrelene is proceeded in death by her husband Walter Stange Jr and both her parents Darrell and Hazel Folkert.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her name to the center for medically fragile children at providence child center. 830 NE 47th ave Portland, Oregon 97213
