Daniel Dragucean

July 18, 1969 – October 15, 2018

After a long struggle with cancer, Daniel passed away at home surrounded by his family, on October 15th, 2018. He was only 49 years old.

Daniel was born on July 18th, 1969 in Romania, to Ana and Petru Dragucean, and grew up with his sister, Daniela. In 1989, his family immigrated to United States of America. He received a degree as an electrician and worked in this field for almost 30 years. On August 11th, 2000 Daniel married Cristina. On July 31st, 2007, he welcome his beautiful son Kristopher, who was the most important part of his life.

Daniel loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed hiking and mountain biking. His favorite hiking trail was Silver Star in Washington State. He had a passion for painting, sculpting and sports cars. One of his favorite vacation spot was Hawaii. He loved snorkeling and filming the fish.

Daniel is survived by wife Cristina, son Kristopher, Sister Daniela, and many dear friends.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on October 20th, 2018 at 12PM at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church-13505 SE Stark St., Portland, OR 97233.

The final resting place is at Forest Lawn Cemetary-400 SW Walters Dr., Gresham, OR 97080.
