Brooke Elizabeth Kriegh of Portland, Oregon

May 11, 2014 – December 7, 2021

On the morning of December 7, 2021 at 9:31 a.m. Brooke, age 7, went to be with the angels unexpectedly at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital while surrounded by her loving family.

Brooke Kriegh was born at Adventist Hospital in Portland, Oregon at 5:27 a.m. on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2014 to her parents Charles Kriegh and Sharon Fernandez.

Brooke was born with many challenges that she spent her short life overcoming; with the help of loving teachers, doctors, physical therapists, caregiver and family.

Brooke enjoyed going to Oliver Elementary School where her teachers and classmates always loved to see her.

Brooke was always up for a road trip or being at a party with her family and relatives. Listening to music; especially “Five Little Ducks”, was always in the background of her day. When she wasn’t playing with her toys or playing in her bed, she would want to cuddle up next to you and relax. Her favorite place was cuddled up with her mom; listening to her heartbeat through the night.

Brooke was survived by her father Charles Kriegh, mother Sharon Fernandez, brother John Fernandez, sister Samantha Fernandez, caregiver Maritza Crespo, grandmother Leticia Fernandez, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The Funeral/Viewing service will be held from 12 pm to 6 pm with Sister Shai and Sister Agnes. Mass will be held at 2 pm on December 19th, 2021 at Omega Funeral and Cremation Service. 223 SE 122nd Ave. Portland, Oregon.  CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS

The family of Brooke wish to thank; Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, the physical therapists, doctors and teachers that helped Brooke and showed her so much love and care.
