Andrew George “Pazz” Pazeotopoulos

April 29, 1935 – January 31, 2021

Andrew George “Pazz” Pazeotopoulos, was born April 29, 1935 in Portland, Oregon.  He was preceded in death by his loving parents, George Pazeotopoulos and Athanasia Syregelas both from Nestani, Greece, and his brother, Chris.

As a young boy he grew up attending Elliot and Irvington Grade Schools then on to his beloved Benson Polytechnic High School where he held a few offices and played sports all while attending Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and Greek School.  He loved playing sports and lettered in track and football.  Two years of college followed and then on to work beside his father in the barber shop on Knott St.  After a few years, Andy moved on to work in Eugene and Houston, Tx.  He returned to Portland in 1974.  That is when he met the love of his life Nancy Cox.  They would be married in 1976.  Nancy would fill his life with love and share so much laughter to see them through 44 years of marriage.

Andy is survived by his loving wife Nancy, 3 nieces, 3 nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews, and so many dear lifelong friends.

Andy was a wonderful human being who loved all animals and supported the all of his life.  Through the years he and Nancy would provide a loving home to their cherished three dogs and ten cats.  Andy would also quietly help people who fell on hard times offering them as much as he was able.  This was a true testament to his generous and kind character.

Most people who knew Andy would agree that he was an amazing conversationalist.  He was as comfortable discussing such topics as cars, architecture, music, art, world affairs, and sometimes little known medical treatments.  He had so very many friends throughout his life, and he loved them all.

A celebration of Andy’s life will be held when the COVID pandemic is over, and all will be invited to attend and share their memories.

May his memory be eternal.
