It has caused me great sadness to learn of the death of Mr. William R. Steagall; Bill, for the lucky people who had the privilege of working closely for him. I remember Bill with love and respect and I can not easily accept that he left, even though we talked for the last time about thirty-four years ago. It is probably because of the image I have of Bill. Intelligent in the extreme, always professional, accesible, hardworking and dedicated to exaggeration, always present. I have a lot to thank you for Bill, and I do it sincerely exited. In my eighty-one years, I review my life and I think that you were perhaps the person who had the most positive influence on me, apart from my father, professionally and personally. Rest in peace Dear Master.
