Will Steward

Will Steward, born William Benjamin Woodhull, 74, passed away at home May 23, 2023 in Gresham, Oregon. He loved traveling around Oregon, trailer camping, flying kites, and watching things grow in the garden. He built beautiful Pygmy kayaks. He enjoyed riding his bicycle and hiking in the Columbia River Gorge. Will worked the emergency room as an RN in Roseburg, Oregon. He built and sold computers and volunteered at the Community Cycling Center.

He was a Pagan in the Feri tradition, and participated in pagan educational activities where he met his wife, Susan (Sibulsky Aschim) Steward, in 2015. They hand fasted and were married in 2016.

He leaves Sue, Frosty the dog, brothers Al and John Woodhull, and sister Betsy Woodhull.

He chose to be distant from his daughter by a previous marriage, Linda Mortenson and granddaughter Kaylee.

He found a home at Eastrose Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, June 21, at Cape Lookout State Park Picnic Shelter on the Oregon Coast. Bring potluck and your kite, and enjoy the sunset at 9:08 pm on Summer Solstice. More information can be found at starlilysue.com
