Wendy Jo Brandt

March 1, 1962- March 8, 2023

Wendy Brandt, 61, of Vancouver Washington passed away due to multiple health issues on March 8, 2023. Wendy was surrounded by her loving and caring family.

Wendy Brandt was born in Fresno California on March 1, 1962. She was the third child out of 2 sisters and 1 brother to Carl Douglas Watkins  and Ronetta Bell Watkins. Wendy was raised in a loving and caring home. Wendy got her GED then continued to get a business degree. Wendy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Wendy loved to spend time with her grandkids and go on vacation. She also loved playing music loud and singing along to the song.

Wendy is survived by her boyfriend Henry Lynch and her 3 children, Amber Leigh Whitney,Takara Alexandria Short, Donald William Short Jr, her 6 grandkids, Aryanah O`Leary, Chelsee Chheung, Dakota Whitney, Ethyn Gann, Lyriq Gann, Semya Bass her great grandkids, Carter Chheung, Piper Chheung, Zachary Sarinana, her step child Shawn Weaver, her sister Kori Muth, Dana Wells, and her brother Darth Watkins.

Wendy is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ronietta Watkins, as well as her daughter Jessica Nichole Short, and her grandson Zachary Jon O`Leary, and her husband Donald Short.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on April 2, 2023 at Omega Funeral & Cremation service, followed by a reception with food and drinks. Visitation will be held at 11 am on April 2, 2023 at Omega Funeral & cremation service 223 se 122nd Avenue, Portland Oregon. Funeral arrangements are being held by Omega Funeral & cremation service.
